New food packaging concept by SWISS creates culinary delights

A feast for your eyes: Together with SWISS we have developed a new food packaging concept that promises freshness, originality, and Swissness. In the new gastronomic concept for Economy Class, SWISS is placing its partnerships with traditional local suppliers at the center of its culinary program. This «upgrade» will enable SWISS to make its positioning and values even more palpable at this core touchpoint and to create a gastronomic brand experience for its Economy passengers.

From London to Istanbul, SWISS serves fresh produce, prepared, following traditional Swiss recipes, by local providers whose high-quality standards match those of the airline. SWISS’s new packaging concept gives emotional expression to this committed belief in origin and quality. As a result of a close collaboration, a new range of packaging was designed that continues the brand story authentically and consistently. As the saying goes: small things can make a big difference.

As of now, the new packaging will be served in Economy Class on all flights to and from European destinations, thus reaching 72% of all SWISS passengers – or almost 11 million people a year.
